Omarchy #

I was interested in taking Omarchy(https://omarchy.org/) for a spin after DHH’s keynote at Railsworld (https://youtube.com/watch?v=gcwzWzC7gUA). I initially ran it on an old Dell XPS15z but the hardware compatibility was a deal breaker. Fortunately, I have a desktop that is a little more modern and I have had some joy in getting this to work with Omarchy. I’m not sure how I feel about this distro and the opinions at the moment, but I have my configuration at a a point that I am reasonably happy with it (it matches my expectations for keyboard settings and developer tooling). I will be taking the time to document a few of the foibles that I’ve hit and hopefully this will help future me. I’m not sure if I’ll keep using it, but I must say that it is well curated and very pretty.
